At Cold Water Club, our mission goes far beyond designing high-quality swimwear and outdoor clothing. We're committed to minimizing our impact on the environment by creating sustainable, durable clothing from recycled materials & continually reviewing our practices. We believe that the natural world, particularly the stunning coastlines and wild waters we love to explore, deserves to be protected for future generations. That’s why our goal is to create pieces with both performance and the planet in mind.

Why Sustainability Matters to Us

As a brand rooted in the beauty of nature, we’ve seen firsthand how climate change and pollution are affecting the environments we love. The oceans, lakes, and rivers where we swim are under threat from plastic pollution, rising temperatures, and habitat destruction. It’s clear that the fashion industry, as one of the world’s biggest polluters, has a critical role to play in reducing these impacts.

At Cold Water Club, we are dedicated to making ethical choices throughout our production process. Our goal is to offer sustainable clothing that not only performs well but also helps reduce our environmental footprint. Sustainable Clothing: Made from Recycled Materials

One of the primary ways we reduce our environmental impact is by using recycled materials in our ranges of clothing where possible.  For example, our Atlantic Beanie is made from recycled materials equal to 1.5 post-consumer plastic bottles. 

Recycled fabrics offer the same performance and durability as traditional fabrics but with a significantly lower environmental impact. These high-quality materials are designed to withstand the toughest elements while providing the flexibility, comfort, and style our customers expect. Whether you're exploring, hiking, or relaxing by the shore, Cold Water Club’s clothing is made to last.

Our commitment to sustainability is constantly evolving. We’re exploring opportunities to offset our carbon emissions by supporting initiatives that protect our ocean's ecosystems. We also invest in packaging which is made from a high percentage of recycled materials & encourage our customers to recycle and reuse where possible to help us on our journey. The health of the oceans is particularly important to us, and we’re dedicated to doing our part to help restore and preserve marine environments.
